Privacy
We process personal data under Costa Rica’s Law 8968 (protection of the person against the processing of their personal data), Executive Decree 37554-JP, and Article 24 of the Constitution. This notice is here before we ask for your email.
Who is responsible
The controller of the database is the operator of sinpe.info. Contact: [email protected] (English) and [email protected] (español). Either inbox works for any request, including ARCO rights.
What we collect and why
The legal basis is your express consent (when you ask for the link and when you save destinations) and performing the service you requested. You may revoke consent; that does not erase what someone already saw on a link.
- Email: to send the sign-in link and keep your session. Required if you want an account.
- Name and handle, if you set them: to show on the profile or link.
- Destinations you enter (phone, bank, currency, IBAN, account number, label): to show them on the views you build.
- Minimal server logs (time, path, errors): to run and protect the site. We do not sell lists or advertise with your numbers.
Who can see it
You, in your account. Anyone who has a public profile or a pay link you created. Us, to run the service and handle a complaint.
Processors: transactional email (currently Resend) and hosting (currently Cloudflare, including the database). Those vendors may process data outside Costa Rica. Using the site means you accept that transfer so we can deliver mail and serve pages.
A competent authority, if legally required. We do not hand your directory to banks or the BCCR in the ordinary course: we have no channel to them.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists and, for published destinations, for as long as the profile or link is active. Sign-in tokens die in minutes. If you delete an account or a destination we stop showing it; we cannot erase copies someone already took.
Your rights (ARCO)
You may request access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition, and you may revoke consent, in writing to either email. We answer within the legal term. PRODHAB is Costa Rica’s supervisory authority if we do not.
We do not ask for sensitive data (health, biometrics, religion, and the like). The phone is a payout destination, not a login.
Security
Session in an httpOnly cookie. Short-lived, one-time sign-in links. The internet is still not a closed room: a link you send in chat can be forwarded.
Children
The service is for people 18 or older. If a minor uploaded data, write to us and we will delete it.
