Disclaimer
This is not fine print hiding a bank. It is the opposite: we say out loud what we are not, so nobody pays thinking this site is SINPE or the Central Bank.
We are not the Central Bank or SINPE
SINPE (Sistema Nacional de Pagos Electrónicos) and SINPE Móvil are services of the Banco Central de Costa Rica and participating institutions. Those names belong to those systems.
sinpe.info is independent. The domain describes the sharing problem, not an affiliation. The BCCR, SUGEF, and supervised entities have not authorized us to run payments.
We do not move money
There is no balance, no “pay now,” and no fee on a transfer. The payer uses their bank app. If that transfer fails, delays, or lands wrong, the claim is with the bank or the payer, not with us.
The BCCR notices that apply to payment-service providers inside SINPE do not apply here: we are not a PSP, we hold no resource-administration accounts, and we do not custody anyone’s funds.
We do not affiliate the phone
Only your bank affiliates a number to SINPE Móvil, in colones, and one phone maps to one account. We only show the number you typed. If it is unaffiliated, at another bank, or no longer yours, the directory does not know.
Bank marks
Names, colors, and favicons for BAC, BN, BCR, and the rest belong to those entities. We use them so the destination is recognizable, not because those banks sponsor us or check the data.
Accuracy
We check format (eight digits, CR IBAN, and so on). That does not prove the account exists, is in your name, or accepts the currency you picked. The directory owner is responsible for what they publish.
Who opens a link
A profile or pay link is a copy-and-paste page. Anyone who opens it can keep those numbers. Do not publish a destination you do not want in circulation.
This is not legal advice
It is a product disclaimer, not an opinion letter. For a claim, a formal notice, or legal advice, write to support or soporte and, if needed, talk to a professional.
